Stock Alerts

Type — Toggle (ENABLED / DISABLED)

Controls whether the system displays alerts for low stock products.

Enabled (ON)

The POS monitors product stock quantities.

When a product reaches its low stock threshold:

• A visual alert is displayed in the interface.
• The product may be highlighted or flagged.

Helps cashiers and managers identify stock shortages in real time.

Disabled (OFF)

• No low stock warnings are displayed.
• Products are displayed normally, regardless of stock level.
• Background tracking continues, but without user alerts.

Impact on User Interface

• Alerts appear instantly when stock conditions are met.
• No navigation or reloading is required.
• This does not affect inventory quantities or sales logic — only the user interface.

Typical Use Case: Enabled: proactive stock monitoring   |   Disabled: external management or alerts not required
