Display Prices​

Type — Toggle (ENABLED / DISABLED)

Controls whether product prices are visible in the POS interface.

Behavior
ENABLED

Product prices are displayed on:

  • Product cards
  • Product lists
  • Item selection views

Cashiers can view prices before adding items to the cart.

DISABLED
  • Product prices are hidden in the user interface.
  • Product names and identifiers remain visible.
  • Pricing is still applied internally at checkout.
Impact on User Interface

✓ Price fields are removed from product cards and lists.

✓ Layout automatically adjusts to fill the space.

Does not change:

  • Cart calculations
  • Totals
  • Invoices or receipts

Typical Use Case: Enabled: - standard retail POS use   |   Disabled: - prices not visible to staff or customers

Persistence and State Management:
  • Stored locally with ObjectBox
  • Applied immediately
  • Preserved after restart
