External Printing

Toggle (ENABLED / DISABLED)

Controls whether the POS uses an external printer to print invoices and receipts.

Enabled (ON)
The POS sends print jobs to a configured external printer.

Used for: Receipt printing · Invoice printing

Printing depends on the selected printer configuration (USB, Bluetooth, network).

Disabled (OFF)
The external printer is not used.

Printing may:

  • Be disabled
  • Fall back to internal/default printing logic (if supported)
Impact
Print-related actions are routed through the printer service.

This does not affect invoice generation logic — only the output.

Use Case

Enabled: Physical receipt printers are connected.

Disabled: Digital-only invoices or test environments.
